The UMP (Universale Maschinenpistole, German for "Universal Machine Pistol") is a submachine gun developed and manufactured by Heckler & Koch. The UMP has been adopted by various agencies such as the U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Heckler & Koch developed the UMP as a lighter and cheaper successor to the MP5, though both remain in production.
It is fully licensed by Umarex so you can expect to see all the correct markings. Like the real steel version, it has a polymer body which makes it very light which is perfect taking into account the size and build of it. The UMP is very well known for its box shape giving it a very streamlined form.
The trigger pull may be rather heavy and long but once you do get to pulling the trigger, the kick will surprise you. You're going to get the 'clackalack' sound of the polymer but that's not a bad thing at all. It does come with an addition top rail of which you need to put on yourself and a suppressor which is the only cylindrical shape when attached to the UMP.
This will be perfect for CQB as it clocks in at around 350-360 fps. It's lightweight, maneuverable, and allows for some additional accessory attachments giving this a definite advantage over a lot of GBBRs.
