The Browning High Power is a single-action, 9mm semi-automatic handgun; one of the most widely used military pistols of all time having been used by the armed forces of over 50 countries since its introduction in 1935. The 'high power' denotes the 13 round magazine as it was over twice the capacity of most weapons of its time besides being chambered in the very decent 9mm round.
The airsoft version feeds from a 20 round magazine, clocks in at about 290 fps using Green / Top Gas; very reasonable. The kick is fairly good for a weapon of this size; perhaps not as ferocious as heavy metal Hi Capas but certainly on par with a metal slide model 17. Accuracy is not bad and all the functions are crisp and solid; no sponginess in the controls on this weapon.
If you are looking for a older model weapon, something with character and something that is not a 1911 then the Browning High Power is a clear choice for the real gun world and with this Tanaka heavyweight it is an Airsoft one too.
